In 2014, we opened “Ishioka-Terakoya Academy” as an easily accessible community-based school in front of Ishioka Staion that inherits from the traditional concept of Terakoya. Our mission is to contribute to globalization in the local community and develop individuals who can play an active role in rapidly changing modern society.
Removing panels or walls in the classroom changes the existing perceptions about classes and creates a space where students can spontaneously communicate with various students. Moreover, interaction with a wide range of people allows students to share various information, expand their perspectives, and raise their cultural level. In addition, we have various types of books, ranging from graduate school level textbooks to overseas novels and classic mangas. Our collection of books encourages students to be curious and explore culture, helping them gain deep knowledge.
寺子屋という名の通り、アットホームで楽しく学べる雰囲気の当塾では、
長年培ってきた英会話教育と国際交流で、「知識」だけではなく、
「コミュニケーション」として現地でしっかり話せる生徒を育てます。
※英会話以外にも高校受験向け必須科目5教科の授業も行っております。
当塾は石岡駅から3分の場所にあります。目印は寺子屋の旗。
石岡駅周辺は静かで勉強に集中できる環境でありながら、9月には石岡のお祭りの中心地にもなり、日本文化にも触れることができる場所です。
